1275 oil pump

I am still gathering parts to rebuild a 1275 Midget engine to go in a minor.
The Hobourn-Eaton HE8100.oil pump looks in good condition, no wear or marks inside.
Is it worth fitting a new one which may be not as good quality?? Part No GLP 141 don't know what make.
The second point some learned people recommend using a steel faced pump, does anyone know a part No, where to obtain one and what is the length, and is it worth the presumed extra cost, for use in a standard 1275.
