would this be ok for the morris 1000 diff/back axle? and how much does the morris 1000 take, 1 litre?

Yes it's ok. No idea about quantity - just fill it to the level with new oil.

should i drain it first? or just top it up? i take it i just top it up and stop just before it starts pouring out of the hole.

there seems to be a bit of a fuss about ep90 and the right type and anything else can ruin a diff?

can anyone explain the fuss over making sure it's the right kind of ep90 if gl5 is ok to use?
