Hi all,
Sorry to be a pain but have got nowhere looking for this part and wonder if you can help.
Th rear view mirror glass in my split screen series II needs replacing. Its the mirror fitting that screws into teh centre screen pillar. Thats in good nick. I need either a new mirror glass or a new mirror unit that clamps onto the ball thingy.
Has anybody got any idea where I could buy either from - doesnt have to be genuine , just useable!
thanks all
colin

Re: Interior mirror problem
Get a piece cut at a glazing company and replace it or hunt around on ebay. Most cars of the period used similar mirrors so don't just search on Morris Minor parts....

Re: Split screen mirror glass
I took mine to a glazier and had him cut a new one out of mirror glass using mine as a template. The original one is 2mm glass, the new one is made of 3mm stuff, but it fits OK.

Re: Interior mirror problem
As above, your local glaziers, cut it slightly larger then you can see the whole of the rear screen.
