As the subject suggests... i found this inlet manifold but i'm not sure what it's off (and therefore if it's any good). Could it be the fabled MG one?

As you can see, it's got locating rings.

looks like it's big enough for a HIF44, didn't have a ruler on me to measure.

The part number cast into it looks like 8CSM-ACR.
Any help much appreciated, cheers!

thanks steve, doesn't look like the same one though.
I've been told on another forum that it is indeed an MG Metro one

SNAP! I have also had one of these sat in my shed for many years and was unsure what it was. Part number is BC & M-A/CR, tell me about the " fabled MG one", not heard anything about this.[frame]

Hello welshrat
Are you interested in selling your manifold? I am in Australia.
Cheers

Hi
The Manifold shown is for a Metro fitted to 1275 A Series Engines
Manifold is water heated
would need seperate exhaust manifold
I am using a branch lcmnifold with this type of manifold
it can be fitted with a HIF38 or HIF44
Alan

it'll be going onto a 1275 with a HIF44 and an LCB manifold, so it should work a treat!
Thanks for all the responses!
