Rubber buffers on front wing flange

I'm about to re-attach the front bumper assembly and note that the restoration manual says to first fit 2 rubber buffers to the lower flanges on the front wings. No photo is given, so I would like to know the correct position to fit these, please.

Hopefully you can see them here on the bottom flange of the wing....
