Hi all,

I have managed to get a van rear body that I plan to restore and use instead of the pickup bed.
The van body i have has the support bars missing (marked in red in the below picture)
Does anyone know where I can get these from?

I dont know anywhere that sells them off the shelf. However when i restored my van a couple of years ago i got some j shaped gutters and the much more complex inner gutter section ( just below the roof) made by an engineering firm whos name i cant remember. They are next door to bj kenny concrete colley lane industrial estate bridgwater somerset. They were only a fiver for about a 1 m section as i recall. They just pressed the shapes to measure.

Or try your local precision engineering firm

Hadrians sell a a floor panel that looks like it has the same profile....

would just need cutting in to strips. Maybe try some car panel places, it might be a general pressing.

If this hadrian panel is the floor strenghthening panel for a van then ive checked with some old off cuts and they are slightly bigger though similar profile, so prob not suitable
Best get some made methinks!

Fairmile Restorations sell inner framework rail for vans & pickups. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for? See here (under 'Latest News') : http://fairmilerestorations.co.uk/
