HELP we dont know what this stamping means

hi all we stripped the engine and found 1300 on the front block can any body help, the picture is a not goos but its the best we can[frame]Image[/frame]

Show us a picture of the engine........and also lift the rocker cover and then show us a picture of the top of the cylinder head.

OK now take the rocker cover off and take a photo.. The rocker cover is the bit on the very top with the oil cap in it.

It's certainly not a '1300' engine..........Very likely a 1098 - certainly 1098 cam follower covers, and I think I can 'just' see the threaded hole for a thermo sensor in the head, and i don't see '950' cast in the side of the block.

A nicely painted 1098 from the tappet chest covers and breather pipe. Also temp gauge sensor hole in the head

we also have highlighted every bit of numbers and mowag writing on the engine and gearbox smarten it all up
