I have a 1949 Lowlight that has been off the road since 1968 and according to the DVLA site that is also taxed!
The logbook on mine states the taxation class as "unlicensed" and it has been like that since we got it in the 1980's!

The "date of liability" relates to the the date that the road tax
or the SORN declaration expires so shouldn't be used as a means of confirming the identity of a vehicle.

Seems like he is an honest seller!
"I HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY A COUPLE OF MORRIS MINOR CLUB ENTHUSIASTS THAT IT MAY NOT BE A GENUINE TOURER BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF REAR REMOVABLE SIDE SCREENS
V5 STATES BODY TYPE AS TOURER
THE MILEAGE IS 71,000
CHASSIS NUMBER IS SMM/40*** "
I'm surprised the first bid is nearly £1000 for a car requiring full restoration!!!
