Traveller History - UHO 540H

Post by chequeredflag »

I have little history for this recent purchase so whilst I wait for the Heritage certificate and DVLA trace I wonder if anyone knows anything of its past ?

Here's hoping

Hi Nick

One clue is that it has a Hampshire registration.

There may not be the information for a Heritage Certificate. If it was built at Adderley Park in Birmingham rather than Cowley, then the records no longer exist. I found this out when I tried to do the same thing on my similar age Traveller. The way to tell is in the chassis number - if the letter F is present it is an AP car if it is M it was built at Cowley. e.g. MAW 5D XXXXXXX F.

I believe Traveller production ended in July 69 at Cowley.

Good luck
