Hi
Have a old Volt meter which I intend to fit into my 1969 Traveller that has been fitted with a alternator.I know it,s just a fitting from the pos. side and neg. The gauge has 2 white wires that attach to the live side, could someone tell me where is the best place to attach these wires.

Thank you

connect it into one of the ignition feeds from the back of the ignition switch, use one of the piggy back spade connectors (Crimp terminal) to save damaging the original loom :-)

Assuming the guage is a second hand one the extra wire was probably just there to feed another guage, only one wire needs connecting to each terminal.

One wire from the "+" terminal to the Ign. live and one from the "-" terminal to an earth point.

If there is a backlight, simply tap into the feed for the speedo lighting :-)
