I looked at a car the other day that has had new number plates put on (yellow at the back etc)
Is it possible (and legal) to put the old style number plates back on a car? Are they even obtainable these days?

Re: Number Plate
Depends upon the cars age, I think its basically that anything registered before January 1st 1973 is allowed to use them.
The pressed Ali plates are becoming slightly more difficult to find, there are loads of people who sell them but the quality of most of them is naff... The cheap nasty ones are available on ebay sold as "show use only" to cover the sellers back as there are loads of modern cars running them illegally.
