Morris Convertible for my Prom ?

Post by youngcamper »

Hi all,

I am after a morris Convertible on the evening of the 30th of June in the Southampton area for my prom, we will be going from Lymington to Beaulieu motor museum you will only be required one way. I am after a convertible or an early lowlight or cheese grater grille minor. I am willing to pay for petrol and your time.

All the best.
Will

There was another joint operation (Police/VOSA/Local Authority/DSS/ etc) at a Derby school a couple of weeks ago checking that all vehicles were fully compliant, including their being licensed and insured for Private Hire. They've heard all the excuses like "for a friend" and "only petrol money" before, and I suspect that such cleverness may be met with a predictable response.

That's one of the reasons why I won't do proms with my wedding cars (which are specifically exempt from local authority private hire licensing).
