LP917 LP936 Wheels - any pictures on cars?

Post by singleton »

Hello all, I have been offered a set of genuine van wide wheels but have yet to check if they are LP917 or LP936. I am hoping they will be Lp936 because I believe these look deeper dished when fitted as you look at the vehicle. Does anybody have any pictures of LP917/936 wheels fitted to saloons or anything so I can get and an idea of how they look fitted? Out of interest which is the rarer of the two? I presume either would fit my 68 saloon with no problems? Cheers

they're 936's apparently.

they should fit ok, never fitted any myself mind you. but the lcv's did have thicker steering arms to cope with the higher torque that they offer. i've never broken any steering arms on my saloon with 185 tyres fitted though. maybe it was a bit of over engineering!
