Hi I used to own a white saloon, 1966, reg MGW473D. had to part with it many years ago, just wondering how to trace it. I have gone on DVLC site and have found it to be unlicenced. Does mean it has been scrapped? Is there any kind of register of minors that i can access?
I am new to this site. This car was my very first car and i have a lot of fond memories of restoring it and travelling in it! Would love to find out what happened to it. last seen in Horley, Surrey about 10 years ago
Cheers

The DVLA term 'unlicensed' could mean either, especially as it was last taxed in March 1997. The requirement to SORN untaxed vehicles came in not long after that date, so either your car is scrapped or it's sitting in someone's garage or garden somewhere. You never know - someone on this site might have it stored away somewhere...

If you go on the Transport for London, go to London charge put in the reg Number it will tell you what car the reg is on now lets you see if its been transfered.

You have to go to the Pay The Congestion Charge link. It's at https://congestioncharging.tfl.gov.uk/b ... eferrer=cc
