A Big Day today and I can't sleep..

Well today is May 22nd the time is 1.25am Only 7 hours to go for our South Wales Branch Rally in Cardiff. 
I have done all I can to make this event happen. But now I have less than 5hours before I should be waking up I find myself here going over things in my mind like a mad man. 
I have tried my favourite tipple,
counting sheep (being Welsh thats no problem round here) 
thinking of nice things and people I will be meeting in the morning but can't drop off. 
I think part of my problem is knowing that I only just managed to secure a lift on the back of a recovery lorry to get my own Morris to the rally site. My Morris failed the dreded MOT on a small welding matter and I couldn't get it fixed in time for the show.
I had two contacts who offered their help in transporting it to Cardiff but the one was working away from his home and couldn't make it back till yesterday (Sat). Then when he did return home he found it right at the back of his lock up with another vehicle on it. The other one said that his trailer was not in a road worthy condition and couldn't help. This little setback has now cost me a small fortune as it left me no time to secure a trailor from a local hirer.
Looking on the bright side of things. I will be there at the rally with my good wife, my friends and my good health. The rain that is pooring down out side should be giving way to warm sunshine and dry weather. 
And when I return home later I will collapse in a heap and sleep like a baby
