Hi guys,
I was just wondering how i'd install a vacuum gauge? would i remove the bolt at the back of my manifold and hook it into that? or is there somewhere near the brake booster? sorry i've never done this before! any pics would be awesome!

If you have a standard manifold then you need to remove it from the engine and then drill and tap a hole to suit the nozzle that should come with the gauge. Essential to remove the manifold in order to avoid swarf dropping into the engine. If your manifold has been previously tapped and then a bolt inserted, it's fine to use that - as long as the thread matches your adapter. Make sure that the rubber hose is routed straight up and away from the hot manifold!

the back of the manifold has a hole in it with a plug done by the previous owner.. we used it to tune the car on a vacuum gauge.. but i was wondering if that was right for running one in the car itself..

Big waste of time in my view - you can't 'tune' the car with a vacuum gauge! Oh yes - you can make the readings go up and down, but they are nothing to do with 'tuning'!

I guess Molly is getting a supercharger!

Would need a pressure gauge then!

If you don't want to do any drilling/tapping you could use a manifold adapter like those shown here.....
