Morris Minor Owners Club

I have a 55 Traveller and will be using it on a daily basis as I go to alot of events with my art (Mainly Automotive) and I want to update the drive train but it's been alot of years sence I had a Morris or my Sprite so what is a good way to go? 1275,1500 and also I would like a 5 speed but which one works? I am use to building what ever kind of mounts I need as I worked with a friend who did tech articals for several mags and I worked with him so changes don't bother me. Any help will be appriciated and I will have lots of early parts for sale a little later. Thanks

It depends how much you want to spend, standard upgrades are 948 engine, gearbox, 4.55 diff, 1504 speedo.
1098 engine, box, 4.22 diff, 8 in front brakes, 1408 speedo.
1275 Midget or Marina/Ital engine, box, 3.9 or 3.7 diff, 9 in or disc brakes, suitable speedo
After that there are 5 speed box conversions
