exhaust header

Post by timetraveller »

i was recently looking under the bonnet of a traveller at a show and the guy had a lovely 3 branch manifold that he said were available from all morris minor parts shops
i havent and cant see any for sale anywhere and had to make my own downpipe from a mini lcb manifold however i think this is restrictricting gas flow and would like to buy a better shaped item to improve this
anybody know where i can get one ????
thanks
Neil

maniflow do two types. one for 'small bore' engines and one for 'big bore' (1275) engines. their stainless and supposedly flow quite well, but i've not had any experience of them. mine is a 'falcon' one from birmingham morris minor centre. it does the job. one size fits all, possibly a bit too big for a 1098 though.
