Wiring Harness

As my restoration continues, see "Assembly Order" I am nearing the time when the wiring harness is to be installed. It had been so long since I removed the old one that I had forgotten where it ran, front to back. I looked up all the relevant info I could find and I began to wonder if it was possible to run the harness on the inside instead, so giving better protection and less mud traps. As far as I could see it would enter in the bulkhead and run along the floor by the transmission tunnel through the box section by the rear seat and into the boot. Has anyone tried this before or is there problem I have not seen?

More prone to chaffing and damage - it's hidden under the carpet, and people hoes will keep scuffing it. Surprisingly, under the car is a pretty good location, as long as you get the route right.

If you do run it inside make sure it is fixed so it can't move anywhere near the seat. You don't want the loom crushed by the seat!
