Went to get a unleaded head of a 1000cc metro today, to convert to unleaded, but in the scrap yard was an 1990 1000cc mini with unleaded engine, which still has the heater takeoff and bypass hose port in place unlike the metro. Could anyone tell me if this head will fit on the 1098 minor engine?

It should do......

yeah, mine is from a 1996 1275cc mini. the 1000cc head should be a direct replacement without having to worry about valve clearance.. eek
