DVLA help

hi all,
after recently getting an insurance quote with footman james (£431 pounds for a 17 yr old, thanks MMOC

) they said that my engine was an 803 when actually its a 1098, my mum said that i should probally tell the DVLA. ummmm how do i do this?

Hey
On your V5C (Log book) there should be a section - on mine it is section 7. Changes to current Vehicle - where you can put the engine number from your car and the current cylinder capacity - and then obviously Sign and send it to the Dvla in Swansea

Take a copy just in case they loose it!

First off - are you SURE it's a 1098? What is the engine number - and does it have a little plate with '1100' on the side of the block?
