As per description, I'm chasing around to find lower pulley.
The engine is original unit in a 52 (with waterpump)
I'm not sure if there are any differences to other versions (e.g. without water pump) but am happy to check measurements etc.. if needed.

Might be your lucky day. I'm fairly sure I've seen one in one of the garages and will look out for it on Tuesday when I get back.

Hi Rob,
Many thanks for looking - if you find one let me know.
The MM partial engine on ebay has one, but I know a few people are chasing that and I'm not going to buy it just for the pulley - although that lot could help replace some of the parts we've "borrowed" from Mike Perry.

Hi Raymondo, Have you got fixed up with the pulley? I could help you out I think - if I can manage to get the pulley off the crank shaft. Let me know please......spike

Don't hammer it off, you might break the flange! There are two small threaded holes to fit special tool 18G 374A, pulley remover. Workshop Manual P. Q12.
If you have not got one then at least you know what it looks like.

Hi Raymondo, Have you got fixed up with the pulley?
I'm still looking - many thanks for the reply.

where are you based?
I may be able to come and get it off for you, or if it's too far I could send you a puller.
Ray.

I have quite a considerable pile of used MM engine parts including a tired complete engine that has just been taken out of service. Obviously iron is expensive to ship across the Atlantic but for smaller pieces like a pulley it might be within reason. Let me know if you are still stuck and I will have a dig through the bins.

Hi Darrel - many thanks for the offer.
I think I've got one in the pipeline now, but otherwise I'll get back to you.

I've hunted high, I've hunted low, I've.....well, you get the idea.

I'm sure there is one here somewhere but it just seems to be in hiding at the mo. I did manage to find an early USHM2 water elbow with a stub pipe on it for one of those Smiths waterpump thingies. Didn't know I had it so it must've been here about 15 years from when I had a 1935 MG/Morris hybrid.

If it helps, the pulley ID is metric (smaller than the A-series) so you might find a Citroen/Peuuiouguoet (sp?) or similar frogmobile to donate a pulley that can be lathed to the correct belt profile. Alternatively the A-series dynamo and waterpump pulleys will catually fit the MM bolt patterns so you could then go with modern shape belts. Just a thought.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for looking anyway - I've managed to re-source one to replace the one from Mike's spare engine. (thanks to club comittee member :D )
