I'd love to know if it sells. Dont know why hes using autotrader. Doesnt seem a very good way to sell classics.

There are people who've paid 3 times that amount to have their minors restored / upgraded etc..
(not me though! I'm far too tight
)
Certainly people with money to burn tend to buy more exotic cars than a Minor so the number of potential buyers will be limited however compared to the cost of a full nut and bolt specialist restoration, £15k is less.
We certainly have an abundance of DIYers on the site - many came here just to find help on how to DIY. What we need to remember is that across the club there is also a lot who don't DIY and have to pay the market rate for garage/specialist bills.

I know of a Traveller that had £18k spent on it so if this is as perfect as that was that represents a £3k saving...
I think this is known as "man maths", and is particularly common problem among classic car enthusiasts!

I bought my Series MM from Autotrader - in 1978. I did not pay £15000 for it. They did not have ebay in those days

The asking price of the other three combined being less than £10,000. In other words a bit of a chancer. One issue is that if it has not been regularly serviced and had all rubber hoses, seals etc. changed then there will be a considerable amount of recommissioning to do if the new owner wants to use it. One could buy a really superb traveller AND a superb tourer for that money and have change to run then for a year or two!

I got Martha from Auto Trader. Well, that's where I found her anyway. She wasn't £15000 either. That is crazy money

I've bought and sold on autotrader, and have found it very good.
I've also bought and sold on ebay and had some problems but the convenience usually balances things out, as long as you take enough care.
Don't forget there are people who wouldn't consider buying a car on ebay.

Thats not really minor though is it, its a fully fledged space frame race car with a lovely body stuck on it.
