could someone tell me the tappet adjustment feeler gauge sizes in mm and thou's please

Don't do 'metric' - but inlets are best set at 12 thou and exhausts at 15 thou. There are 40 thou in a millimetre (near enough) so I leave you to do the Math!

Going by the Leyland Minor Workshop manual 12 thou = 0.305 mm
