Jacking point - Morris Traveller :)

I would like to change a few wheels around and get at the brakes and give them a once over...however my problem is...where do i jack my traveller from....there are 2, what appear to be, jacking points in the centre of the car on opposite sides....any help here would be appreciated! :D

NEVER use the jacking points - or the jack. For show only. Get a trolley jack for working around the car - and either carry it with you in the car, or get a bottle jack for roadside emergencies. Always jack under the suspension or on the front chassis legs - never on the body.

Logic is that if you use the side jacking points then you are lifting the whole car on one point which might well be rotten and with a flimsy screw jack. Jack under the suspension or corner of the chassis and you are only lifting one corner of the car with a secure jack. Jack the back of the car under the spring axle mounts or under the diff. Do not work on the car without supporting it on axle stands

I've found that my bottle jack sits perfectly under either the leaf spring/damper mounts for the rear axle or under the front suspension arm. Three or four pumps and the wheel is off the ground, and if the jack fails it only drops less than an inch before bottoming out. Obviously for working under the car at least one axle stand, if not two should be used.
