Transit clutch issue.

The transits being a wuss. As the clutch engages (pulling away in 1st/2nd only) theres a 'juddering' as it engages as though its not happy about it. Someone suggested to me that a clutch plate can warp which would explain the feeling that its jumping on and off as the clutch engages. I was towing a VW camper (surprise, surprise) the other day and the problem was greatly exagerated whilst pulling away with the extra load. I'm sure someone here knows whats wrong!

Thanks as always

Lots of ideas here, no consensus though.

Start with the cheap ones when trying to fix.

im on there ;) best place to ask about anything transit!

But as you dont say what age/engine there is not a lot to say here! theres a big difference in engine/drivetrain between the 1968 1.7v4 and the 3.2TDCI 200PS engine in the new vans!
