I have noticed how happy my little Moggy seems to make people. (Unless I am stalled somewhere, but I think that is just a general hatred towards Learner Drivers).
Yesterday we saw a few people looking & smiling at us, and of course, she makes me terribly happy!
Does your car make people smile?

As a rule yes, it certainly turns heads! although you do get people from the younger (our!) generation that laugh at you!
I'm sure i must annoy people on the motorway though, i try to keep out of the way but i'm always going faster than lorries, but only a bit, so me overtaking a lorry is as infuriating as lorries overtaking lorries! taking the motorway down to one lane effectively.
i did have some silly woman call me a flag without the L

as i was waiting to turn right accross the bristol road in birmingham where understandably (to most people) you can end up waiting a while to drive accross the traffic. anyway, she was waiting behind me (maybe she hadn't seen the indicators) and she finally undertook me and shouted at me as she passed!
a very rare occurence though!
on the bright side i do get far more 'thumbs up's than 'middle fingers up' by people passing on the motorway

Generally yes, although some people get frustrated when they don't see the trafficators or get stuck behind me (it's an 803cc)
As a rule it seems to put a smile on pedestrians' faces more than other motorists'!

Hi. If you get 10 people look and smile at you in your Morris then you should try driving a Morris Minor Panda Car you get 20 people. It really is a head turner. Welcome to our world of Morris Minor Driving.

Just wait until they stop you to ask if they can have a "sniff inside to bring back happy memories"!! This happened to me at a petrol station

I've had my van for a month and the first two weeks I really hated it as it cost over £600 to get it in a road worthy condition and it had just been MOTed by the previous owner.I'm slowly getting to like it now.

I can empathise with that, I got Martha last week and had to spend £40 on her the following day
However, I adore her!
More sympathetic drivers find it funny when I am stuck stalled in her

I find it frustrating, but I am still a learner, everyone has to learn!
