Footman james. They have an association with the club so may be useful to have your membership number to hand.

I've had my van only a month and I use Footman James and they do have breakdown cover as I think most classic car insurers do.Footman James is the only insurance company that would insure my van the other companies would not.

Go with RH - the more I hear about FJ the less I like the sound of it. They now appear to be charging a fee for making changes - which RH have never done with me. Just get quotes and compare.

I am with FJ because RH would not insure my Morris van to go to work a couple of times a week. RH had insured my A35 van for previous 15 years with no problem so I don't know what the differance between a Morris Minor van and an A35 van.

I always use Adrian Flux beacause i'm too young for Footman James. They're brilliant. Really cheap (for me anyway). I'm 24, have 1 year no claims and my last moggie was £220 a year with full breakdown (homestart, europe etc), courtesy car. All the trimmings. Always had good service.

I'm with Footman James for the Moggie and Adrian Flux for the Merc. Good deal from Flux on the Merc, but wanted twice as much to insure the Moggie as Footman James. It seems to depend on who you are and what car. Some of the insurers only seem to be interested in certain cars.
I'll give RH a go at my next renewal

Really, most of the Young members are with FJ because they have a young drivers policy with the club.

So far i have had no problem with FJ but renewal time will show as i have used the Breakdown a lot!

That's interesting. I went on their site and it said you have to be over 25 on the list of conditions. I've always been happy with Adrian flux so haven't really shopped around! I pay £1300 a year for my van so £220 seems like loose change!
