Does anyone know who supplies headlining for a lowlight?

Do Newtons not do one?

that's 'Split Screen', not specifically Low Light, is there a difference? I can only think the difference is the smaller rear window, and slightly different windscreen top rail shape.

The early headlining on lowlights was cloth and was the same as found on many pre war cars, any classic car coach trimmer should be able to make a headlining.
The later Series MMs had rexin covered hardboard which I am informed by NC is not available

I had noticed that the car was not 100% original

Mine is the rexine covered hardboard, and NC doesn't do it. I'm sure Onne got a new headlining from somewhere for his, but not sure exactly where.

Yea Onne got one awhile back which I bought from him last year as he has sold his lowlight. I havent fitted it yet. My series 11 traveller has a similar type of hardboard lining that I recovered with sort of plastic backed materail used for making blackout blinds from a local materail shop. If you can take a sample into a cloth shop Im sure they would have something near enough.

Try Dunelm Mill. They do a blackout material that would do.

It's not really the material I'm after. I just wanted a complete new headlining for my car (may as well complete it to a high standard), and it's old one will be going elsewhere. If I have to use the old one (recovered) then I'll easily enough do it.

I removed the cloth headlining on my MM because the boards it was fixed to were grotty. It is very difficult to handle those boards and spring them into position. Am wondering whether I could stick some sorta insulation lining direct to the roof and then glue new cloth to that. Any views?
