If anyone has any pictures of a moggy without its front doors from the side and above (with the focus being on the A pillar) I would really appreciate it

Thanks. I'd found that myself but its a few other views I'm after ideally. I'm not 100% on the deffinate placement and I've nothing to work from!

I've got a few of the inner A pillar before welding in place the back cover, it shows the hinge plates etc. Let me know if they will help before I gather them up!

Best way to fit a new A pillar (if that is what you are doing?) is to fit the captive thread plates to the new pillar, bolt the door to the pillar via the hinges and then close the door so the chrome door peg goes in the B pillar chrome socket, tack or self tapper the hinge pillar on and then re-fit the front wings to make sure all the panels fit and have good gaps etc.

That would really help - I would appreciate it alot!

Chickenjohn - theres nothing left of the A pillar, inner wing and kidney panel. Starting a-fresh with new panels aand could just do with a general placement of parts visually

Les,

first, I'm sorry for not replying sooner!!!! I have been out of action for months and havnt been able to get online even.

Thankyou so much for the photos, if you have any more and any bigger ones would probably be the exact thing to get me going again!

If you could find the time I would really appreciate it

I think thats all the relevant pics from when I did Igors structural stuff there are a few stages missing and a few out of sequence but they should give you a good idea. I had quite a bit of accident damage from way back when so there was additional tweaking and pulling required. The doors shut beautifully now, even with a heavy engine and getting jacked up and down several times. The first hard launch will be the real test!
Check out the full build by clicking the pic on the right in my signature :) its mainly pics so its pretty quick to roll through the pages.
