Hello there. I have developed a high pitch sqeek/spuel when i go round a right hand bend and some times even in a straigh line, not all the time just every now and then. i have tried greasing up the front suspension and i think its made it a little better but not a great deal, cant be sure...
Any advice on what this noice could be would be really appriciated!
Many thanks Loz

Sounds to me like your wheel bearings are worn, it can make a noise when the weight shifts when your going round a corner and eventually will will make a continious noise. Easily cured with some new wheel bearings

Do you mean a squeak in time with the wheel rotation or a squeak as your suspension goes up and down? (if you get my meaning)

Well lets say i go right at a roundabout or even a right hand bend, i go round the noise comes so i twitch the steering wheel and it goes and then come back again somtimes, most odd!beero wrote:Do you mean a squeak in time with the wheel rotation or a squeak as your suspension goes up and down? Some of the disc brake conversions have problems with the bearings coming loose in the alloy hubs...... Do you have a 'long' brake pedal??
Certainly think you should jack up each front wheel - and feel for any movement in the hub/bearings.......

Don't like the sound of 'Tapper(sic) roller bearings came loose' - how on earth can that happen ??? Something very much not right there!
