Morris Minor Owners Club

I am just repairing the lower cross member on my van -I removed a very tired rubber seal (which cannot be reused), but I cannot seem it source a replacement from the minor suppliers? Am I either asking for the wrong part, or alternatively can you just use a thin rubber strip ?

IS IT THE SEAL BETWEEN THE ARM AND VAN BOTTOM
IF SO A PEICE OF THICKISH DAMP PROOF COURSE WILL DO CUT TO SHAPE
