hi there. how do you deal with the rusty cracks on the bottom of the b pillar? it seems to be a stress point. in which case it's probably going to go again if welded/cleaned up?

i was thinking of jenoliting it and sanding it up best i can then sealing it with sikaflex or sealant.

A picture would be a big help, there shouldn't really be any stress points on the shell.

Half way up it's common, at the bottom, less so.

NO! If you have cracks - they must be properly welded up and/or new metal let in.

These stress cracks appear only on 2door saloons and convertibles and are the result of continual slamming of ill fitting doors over a number of years. The cracks will have to be welded to cure but the ill fitting doors will also have to be investigated to stop any cracks reappearing.
