New Lowlight Front Panel

I bought a used M1000 front panel to donate the lower half for a Lowlight panel repair. The later panel has a smaller hole for the grille so I had to chop an inch off of the bottom of the grille 'hole' to accomodate the deeper MM grille and then fold the edge over to match the original shape. I carved a forming tool out of aluminium and held it in a vice whilst beating the steel into submission. I also had to add the fold in the sides of the panel below the lamp which is missing from the M1000 panel. This bit will need a little extra bashing to get it right.[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]

I had to do this on mine as well, though I cut it between the air vents and welded it together there. It also gives you the added advantage of drain holes at the bottom so hopefully it wont rust as quickly again![frame]Image[/frame]

This one was a bit too thin around the holes to be able to do that. Y'know, I hadn't noticed the lack of drain holes on the lowlight.
