Locked Out !!

So, we were in the Peak District of Derbyshire today and found a nice little parking space in Castleton
(for those who aren't aware this is a popular and picturesque village). It has been a lovely sunny day around these parts.
I squeezed Alice in and parked quite close to a dry stone wall (the Peak District is full of 'em) locking the driver's door from the inside I exited the car from the passenger door, all OK so far.
Returning to the car after a couple of hours I attempted to gain entry by simply squeezing between the wall and the car and putting the key into the highly secure lock
, and guess what! I have discovered that if you lock the driver's door from the inside they key ain't gonna unlock it
. Who knew
It's the first time that I have wished that people weren't so interested in our pride and joy
. After thinking around the problem the obvious came to mind, enter through the back seat of course
, how could I have not thought of this sooner. I don't know whether it's a standard fit but the back of our rear seat is held in place by a couple of wing nuts, what a brilliant idea
. A few turns later and there I was, back legs dangling out of the boot reaching to unlock the back door
. I'm sure nobody noticed
