Any comments, anyone, especially about the extras on offer?

He's offering them at these prices to me:

Ford Rear Axle + 3.9 Diff + Brakes + Prop £100
1.5" Lowering block kit, unopened, new from Rally Design £15
Used Ford Spring Saddle plates with shock mount £10
Used Marina/Spitfire Front Hubs £10
Brand New Minor Crossmember £50
Used Minor Gearbox Crossmember £5

Also I have some parts which you are welcome to for free as I need the space!

Radiator
Minor Uprights
8 Leaf Minor Van springs
4x 13" Marina/Triumph stud pattern wheels, nothing special but useful for rolling around on, tyres are shot though

ford rear axle.. it depends what it is from.. escort mk1/2 and capri mk1 good as it fits inside the moggy bodywork. most others (of the top of my head) will require wider rear wings.. price including everything is good.

lowering blocks are about 20 - 25 new.. just make sure you have the longer shackle pins otherwise you will need to buy them and you lose your saving.

Used Ford Spring Saddle plates with shock mount £10
no use as far as i am aware

Used Marina/Spitfire Front Hubs £10
nice to have a spare set and ten pounds is a good price, but you do need the mounting plate as well if you wish to go for the marina disc setup.


Brand New Minor Crossmember £50
no idea of the price

Used Minor Gearbox Crossmember £5
not sure that the marina box fits the standard cross member, would be worth checking out if it does.. at a fiver always worth having a spare..

100 quid for the axel is very good i payed 220 for mine, and u will need the spring paddle mount but i payed 75 for mine !
