Footman james is rubbish.
my dad wanted to put me on 2nd named driver on his traveller.
ive driven for 2 yrs and 23 and got 2 yrs no claims..
they wanted 1200 for the yr!!!!
WTH! my own car is half that a year? call them the clubs insurance company?
went to another insurer and quoted 200

£1200 sounds about right to me, young named drivers has got a name for being a bit of a scam I'm afraid.

James, but is this driving on your dads policy and you pay the extra?
£1200 sounds like it is your own policy.
