Sandblasting

I'll be leaving university this May (hopefully), and will loose my free access to the metal workshop including the super shiny amazing sandblasting machine (and if anyone's confused.

I was hoping to get some bits refurb with this machine but they'd have to be small bits i can take on the tube. anyone got any suggestions of bits that can be removed.. put in a bag.. and can be squeezed into a sandblasting cabinet?

already thinking.. air filter housing, gearbox gaiter surround, battery retaining bar, spare wheel retaining bar, possibly rocker cover.

seems a shame not to use it when it can do what i do in an hour roughly, in a min smoothly

good call.. i'll check. its a fully equipped metal workshop for engineering so i'd hope they have it right. what difference would this make to the finish? will sand damage the surface?

Although the cabinet will be sealed and will have a HEPA filtered dust extractor connected to it - NO!

it'll be above board sand blasting at uni.. they're sticklers for health and safety. no one got any ideas of other bits i can unscrew for a little blast then. the whole engine block's probably alittle of ambitions but the battery box might fit
