how much are car batts from costco and what one do you recommend? cheers.

Ask Costco! But they are an excellent buy - good quality -long lasting. Just buy the cheapest one you can find - or if there is a slightly larger one at the same price - go for that. you should watch which side the +ve terminal is - make sure it sits at the back (nearest the bulkhead) when fitted in the car. this to keep it away from the hold-down bar to avoid nasty shorts!

Our local Costco now only stocks later car batteries mainly for cars from 2000 onwards although their prices are unbeatable for quality batteries, what you need is somone who can quote the modern equivalent, as a matter of interest the standars battery for a Reliant Scimitar is the same as a heavy duty for a moggie.
