Morris Minor Owners Club

We are now planning events for 2011 in the South Wales area. For anyone interested, we will be having a "Daffodil Run" on Sunday 6th March. This run will be a short one but starting and ending at The Barn Llantristant where we will have our annual Meal. If you intend to come along you wil be most welcome. Numbers for the meal would be needed asap.
April we will be haveing a "Drive It Day" run to Margam Park. and in May we will be holding our own Branch Rally. This will be open to anyone who own/drives a Morris. The daffodil run sounds great and Anouska and I really enjoyed the drive it day last year, so we'll definately want to do that again.

On the May branch rally you say any morris is invited, does that apply to a Morris Mini Minor, (a Mark 1 morris mini basically, my parents car), it is technically a morris?

My poor old pickup is currently batteryless again when ever the every day family car has a battery problem, poor old kingpin looses her battery, its her third in as many years. This time is was my father inlaws renault megan. The morris battery was actually bigger than the renaults one and considering the amount of electronic gismos the megan has I was very suprised.

Hi Pikey. it was hoped that our rally field was open to 100 Morris's but if we can't reach those numbers by the end of April then we will open it up to other clasic vehicles. With regards to your Morris Mini Minor then we as a branch should embrace ALL makes and will be pleased to accept it. If you can fill an entry form out for each vehicle please.
Again with the daffidol run in March you are most welcome to join in and a list will be made to see what numbers we will be having. Don't forget we have a branch meeting this Wednesday at 7.30pm if you can make it.
