Marina hubs ford wheels

Hi, am doing up a 54 4dr, been inspired by all the projects on the MMOC pages and am slowly working away at all the rust and when back up to strength am going to be putting in a 1600 xflow to a ford escort axle. At the front end i'm planning on putting on Marina hubs and discs with the pcd altered to ford spacing (108 mm i think), which from reading around a bit seems a pretty straightforward mod. Does anyone out there in modified morris land have first hand experience of doing this because i am curious to know whether anything has to be done about the hub bore of ford wheels going onto the marina hubs. The marina hubs i've got have a hub bore diameter of approx 55.5 mm, but the escort axle has a hub bore size of 63mm, so that the corresponding ford wheel bore will be oversize on the marina hub. Does it matter that the wheel is only supported by the 4 studs ? Interestingly, on the rear axle there is only about 2 mm of hub bore poking out from the drum which i would think is hardly enough to boost secure location of the ford wheel to ford axle in the first place. Any info would be appreciated.
Also anyone got info about running brakes to a remote brake booster that can run dual circuit braking (d/c necessary for compliance here in NZ).
Thanks

I don't know if Ford wheels are hub-centric, but I'm sure someone will be along soon who does know. As for the booster -you will probably have to use two (if you really need them) or use a twin circuit combined master cylinder/booster as per the later Minis ?

Stringfixer,
Here's a link on the dual circuit M/C that fits the morris minor.

Barry no longer makes this kit due to health issues but according to Martin Chapman, it is still available- contact Martin Chapman info@morrisminornsw.org.au from the NSW club and perhaps he can help.
Regards
Declan

On reflection plan B could be to use MGF wheels which will fit on the marina hubs at the front and alter the pcd of the rear.

I would use the ford wheels at the front with a spigot adaptor ;)
