I've just changed the UJs on my MGB.

The old ones were the 'sealed for life' type with no grease nipple. at the back end the old unit was half seized and knocked. On inspection all the sealed for life grease had gone and the pins were red rusty!!

I've noticed that both types are available for the Minor, my suggestion is to fit the old type with the grease nipple and don't be beguiled by the sealed for life promise.

I always thought that sealed for life was a bit of a sales pitch and only meant that you were spared from greasing it and not that it would last longer, but that is just my opinion.

Sealed for life means the life of the component, not your car, or your life!

It was 'sealed for life' as described - what's your problem?
