This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.

Well done finding the Deltic engine. It's main advantage of course is the lack of any valve gear - the disadvantage is the complex gearing to join up the crankshafts - and the price, now ~£500,000 each, and a Deltic Loco has TWO of them.
The SRPS are running Deltic hauled excursions to Kyle of Lochalsh on 28 May and to Wick on 17 June

Will be nice to see and hear Royal Scots Grey again, she will always be a favourite Deltic of mine, ever since I saw her making a volcanic departure from York back in 1981...

Found another one...

Have you ever wondered how a woman's brain works?
Well....it's finally explained here in one, easy-to-understand illustration:

[frame]Image[/frame]

Every one of those little blue balls is a thought about something that needs to be done, a decision or a problem that needs to be solved.

A man has only 2 balls and they take up all his thoughts
