Morris Minor Owners Club

I have recently invested on a set of Door Restraining Bars to enable correct setting of the door opening before undertaking welding on sills, floor panels etc. on my Convertible. The photograph below shows one of the two restraining bars positioned on my car which forms a rigid structure when installed correctly. The instructions for the bars states that the doors can be closed with the restraining bars in position to obtain the correct door gap prior to welding. I would like to hear from anyone who has used these bars on a Morris Minor. Thanks, klm
