i am considering getting one of the remote reservoirs for primrose, but i am unsure how one would make it fit, due to the master cylinder cap being level with the floor and where the pipe comes from the cap on the conversion kit, would mean you would have a very large lump underneath the carpet.
how have people got around this problem?

It doesn't go on the cap. It connects instead to an opening currently fitted with a plug. Can't see the point of these myself - just something else to go wrong or leak. It only takes seconds to lift the carpet and unscrew the cap.........

ah right, i didnt think of that, would this plug be on the back?

Yes. You also have to block the breather hole in the top cap.

ah right, ill order one at some point soon then, will make bleeding brakes and soundproofing the floor a whole lot easier

if you use gravity to bleed the brakes then yes it will be easier to have a remote reservoir but if you push the brakes to bleed them, then having the filler where you are pushing the brakes is a lot easier.

Sorry i do not understand why a remote reservoir makes sound proofing easier

you can really put it down and fix it in place, having the filler beneath it means you have to leave it loose and keep faffing around trying to role it back when you have to bleed the brakes

i would not want to stick the sound proofing down..

any water you get in your car will be soaked into the sound proofing and held against the floor to rust it out from the inside.

If you do not glue it down you can always lift it and dry it out..

also when you come to weld the floor of the car you will need to rip it up off the floor.. put it in the bin and by some new sound proofing. by the time you attach your front seats this should hold the sound proofing in place.. far better not to glue it down

i wasnt planning on sticking it down, that would be silly (especially knowing how much she leaks) i was going to use poppers to hold it and the carpet down,
