HELP! Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Post by Matt Tomkins »

Hi there,

As soon as exams are over, i'm going to start re-assembling the minor, and hopefully pull it near to completion.

I have, however, made the most fundamental error possible...

... not made careful enough note as to detail etc.

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could upload any pics of how things should be fitted.

My main concerns so far are:

Boot handle - which way up?

Parcel shelf - which way up does the bar go? what about the cardboard? - i've bought new
- ash trays etc.

interior light - which way around?

also, i've bought a load of engine decals etc. - any pics of an engine bay for their locations?

many thanks, and i will be sure to take more photos next time!

Matt

It seems to me that many boot handles are upside down so -- whichever way looks best to you? Along will come many people to shout that down. 8)

Interior light goes in so that the switch is toward the rear, if I understand you properly.

Not a very good photo of my project, but the boot handle is as Issigonis intended.
