NOW SORTED! Gearbox Transport Wanted

Post by BigDawgV8 »

Hi All,

A long shot I know but is anyone from the Lincolnshire area coming down to Stansted airport area in the next couple of weeks?

I have a gearbox for collection in Spalding but the guy doesn't trust couriers (He has had a hard time with couriers the last year or so).

Is anyone willing and/or able.

Obviously willing to contribute to fuel costs etc.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers

Martin

Retro rides have a pony express thread which might be useful for you? :D

Sometimes I have used a courier to collect parcels from sellers so all they need todo is pack it up and make sure the courier can get at it for collection but the responsibility for any problems would come back to you and not the seller which might settle their mind a bit - just a thought.

Hi and thanks for the link Jeff! :D

Sadly, the seller has had trouble with couriers lately and is VERY reluctant to use them again (I have been there too....... ). Worst comes to the worst I will drive up there but it's not cheap in a Scooby (as you may know?!).
