putting torsion bar in place

i started to rebuld my front suspesion on the project minor, what is the easier way to get the torsion bar in place and get the eyebolt thing in place, i seem to have misplaced my manual,

There really isn't any great difficulty in fitting the T bar - just compare with the other car! The eye-bolt fits to the T bar via the steel bush and through rod which passes through the (hopefully) polly bushes. Be sure to space the eyebolt out slightly to get some negative camber.......

yeah i have poly bushs, i have the spacer that come with it should i put another one on ?

To eliminate +ve camber - yes. But of course you must measure it - not just act blindly.

If the front chassis legs have had work done on them, it has been known to take the form of welding a channel section over the original box section, making it wider, this can also change things.

they were both replaced

but the suspension has already been on the car

Replacing isn't the issue, it's when they are repaired by putting more metal over the old chassis leg, rather than renewing.

oh well this had everything new,,, every panel changed with heritage panels in 1990 haha

my gearbox has just died on this moggy so cant finish the suspension as planned
