The article by Tony Jenkins about the different wheel sizes found on Moggies was interesting to me as I have a 1957 pick-up. I have had a look at my wheels and two plus the spare appear to be standard saloon wheels. The other two wheels are marked with an undecipherable letter or letters and the number 802.
Has anyone any idea where these wheels may have come from?
Chris

LP 802 = standrad rim a 4J
The 4.5J came from 1967 onwards ob 8cwts only (LP917)
As the articles says LP936 were teh same rim with the middle turned around so the offset was at the front and not at the rear. They gave the appearence of being wider

Yes as far as I'm aware, and they measure up correctly for 3.5J..Surely standard rims are only 3.5 J ??
