Replies can be a little slow at this time of year and they do rely on someome local seeing the post.

The key to finding a Morris Minor friendly garage is to join your local branch and ask at the next club meeting! They will be able to point you to a known, good, minor garage, or one of the other enthusiasts may be able to undertake some work for you for a reasonable cost.

I was one of the 40 readers - sorry no reply as I didn't think "I've no idea" was very useful (as I'm south Midlands, not east)
Before reading a post it's hard to know what is in there - if there was something technical which could have been subject to useful advice I may have had a bit more to say ;-)
